As per news report, after 4 years fee regulatory committee planned to revise fee structure for MBBS course admission in Feb 2014 meeting. As per the medical fee structure non-minority medical colleges 40% of their seats given to Category A students with Fee of Rs 60,000 and 10% seats Category B for Rs 2.4 lacs. Management selling the remaining all seats with name of management quota seats which is officially costs Rs.5.5Lakhs per seat. Many private medical colleges known to collect from Rs 50 lakh and Rs 1 crore to offer those seats as mentioned in report. Finally private colleges Management said that since EAMCET notification already issued, so Government should announce the final fee structure on or before 2014 Lok Sabha Election.
